In June, Conversano is bathed in bright red to welcome the Cherry Festival, one of the most eagerly awaited events of the Apulian spring.
A tribute to the May Queen
The town is celebrating the “Ferrovia” cherry – a local speciality renowned throughout Italy – with a weekend packed with food and wine events, markets, live performances and opportunities to learn more about the world of agriculture.
