The Church of Santa Chiara is much more than just a religious building: it is a place of the soul, a silent guardian of centuries of history, where art and spirituality blend into a symphony of stone and colour. It is the ideal place for anyone seeking inner peace, artistic inspiration or simply a moment of contemplation.

Walking through its naves, observing the frescoes and admiring the works housed in the art gallery is to immerse oneself in an intense and authentic experience. The refined Romanesque architecture, the richness of the decorative elements, the sacredness of the spaces and the profound tranquillity that envelops every corner of the church make this place an unmissable stop for anyone wishing to discover the very essence of Conversano. A journey into the soul of the village.

L'articolo Chiesa di Santa Chiara a Conversano proviene da ViviConversano.

Until the early nineteenth century, the oldest of the city gates stood between the Acquaviva d’Aragona Castle and the city walls: the Porta Maggiore, also known as the Porta del Castello.
They are not just places to look at: they are spaces to rediscover, where the past meets the present in the heart of the village.
