L\u2019entr\u00e9e, aujourd\u2019hui non accessible dans sa forme originale, se trouvait autrefois \u00e0 <strong>5 m\u00e8tres du sol<\/strong> et n\u2019\u00e9tait atteignable que par un pont-levis : un signe \u00e9vident de la fonction militaire de l\u2019\u00e9difice.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Un pass\u00e9 enracin\u00e9 dans l\u2019Antiquit\u00e9<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\" class=\"translation-block\">La colline de Castiglione conserve des traces d\u2019implantations humaines beaucoup plus anciennes. <strong>Entre le VIe et le Ve si\u00e8cle av. J.-C.<\/strong>, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque pr\u00e9romaine, la zone abritait un <strong>village fortifi\u00e9<\/strong>, prot\u00e9g\u00e9 par une <strong>enceinte en ma\u00e7onnerie polygonale<\/strong>.
