The cultural heart of the city
In the heart of Conversano’s historic center, among cobbled streets and centuries-old architecture, lies MUSeCO, the city’s Museum Hub. This complex represents the cultural soul of the city, a place where history, art, and tradition meet and engage in dialogue with the present.
Partly housed in the enchanting Monastery of San Benedetto, MUSeCO is divided into several sections, each telling a piece of Conversano’s rich heritage.

The genius of illusions arrives in Conversano
For the first time in Puglia, Maurits Cornelis Escher, the Dutch artist famous for his captivating optical illusions, arrives in Conversano.
The exhibition is hosted in the spaces of the Castello Conti Acquaviva d’Aragona and features some of the artist’s most iconic works, capable of transforming mathematics into art and playing with the rules of perception.

the Marangelli Civic Library
A cultural hub for the community
Located inside the historic Conservatorio di San Giuseppe, the Civic Library is a cultural point of reference for the city. Founded in 1958, it is now a lively and dynamic center, hosting exhibitions, book presentations, workshops, and meetings.
📅 Dal 27 al 31 maggio 2025, la biblioteca ospiterà un evento speciale con Hervé Tullet, artista e autore internazionale, che guiderà i visitatori in un’esperienza artistica collettiva e partecipativa.

The Cattedrale Gallery hosts a fascinating and emotionally powerful exhibition: “Gli Artisti con la Valigia”.
A tribute to Apulian artists who left their homeland in search of fortune elsewhere, but who never abandoned it in their hearts. The collection, curated by Lucilla Tauro, tells stories of departures and returns, of nostalgia and identity.
