From 15 July to 31 August 2025, Conversano is transformed into a nocturnal tale made of light, matter and visual poetry. With Lumen Light Fest, the historic centre becomes a widespread installation, an open-air exhibition that invites you to explore its lesser-known — yet incredibly fascinating — corners through the contemporary gaze of Apulian design and craftsmanship.

Un festival tra luce, arte e arredo urbano

Lumen was created to enhance the most hidden and quiet spaces of the old town, integrating artistic installations with the urban environment and turning them into true elements of contemporary design.
A project that intertwines creativity, regeneration, and local identity, giving prominence back to these spaces and encouraging new forms of cultural engagement.

Strolling through Piazza Castello, Villa Garibaldi and other corners of the historic center, you encounter suspended, interactive, organic light artworks that capture the eye and the imagination. Each installation is designed to engage with the living stone of the town and with those who walk through it, offering new visual and sensory perspectives.

The "Apulian-ness" of lighting designers

Lumen celebrates the craftsmanship of Apulian artisans and designers, the true stars of the festival. Artists capable of combining natural materials – such as wood, plant fibers, and fabrics – with the evocative power of light, creating unique works of art.
